Training Beyond Boundaries

Southern African Wildlife College

Southern African Wildlife College is the most effective hands-on conservation training institution that works beyond boundaries to conserve and secure Africa’s wildlife and ecosystems in partnership with local communities.

We aim to inspire every person we engage with to conserve our natural world. Every student we train, wilderness area we protect, every community engaged, and every species brought back from the brink starts with you.

Equipping people with the necessary knowledge and applied skills to conserve and protect natural resources and biodiversity in a viable, inclusive and economically stable way is our main purpose.

Southern African Wildlife College prioritises:

  • Natural resource management
  • Field ranger training
  • K9 Unit
  • Responsible resource use
  • Community and Youth development
  • Aerial Support unit
  • Rise unit

All our courses are accredited and we, over the course of the years, have received multiple awards proving that our efforts have an impact.

As an appointed centre of specialisation in conservation education, training and skills development within the SADC, we don’t just give our students the education and skills needed to prepare them for success, we help them discover themselves, their leadership capabilities and challenge them to use these skills to become conservation change makers.
